Coming to a Chapter meeting is a great way to become familiar with the Wisconsin Chapter of NAPO. Prospective members are assigned a “buddy” in the Chapter who is available for guidance, help and welcoming into the group.
To become a member of NAPO-WI, an individual must first become a member of The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). The fee for national is $180 annually for provisional members or $200 annually for active members. Both options also incur a one-time processing fee of $20. Please see www.napo.net for details. The benefits of NAPO are the monthly newsletter, inclusion in the annual NAPO membership directory and the referral network as well as a listing on the NAPO web site.
The annual membership fee to join NAPO-WI is $75. New members may join the Chapter at any time during the year. Chapter membership requests received from January through June require full payment of dues while requests from July through December will be pro-rated at one-half the annual fee. All dues are non-refundable.
Chapter meetings are held six times through out the year with a $10 charge to members per meeting attended. Guests may attend up to two meetings for a $15 charge. Guest attendance after two meetings is $25.
